Een authentieke Rasta muts / An authentic Rasta tam

       Deze keer heb ik een echt grote Rasta muts gehaakt, van heerlijke 'Cotton Light' garen, dus ondanks de maat van de muts toch niet zwaar! Ook heb ik een luchtige steek gebruikt zodat het een heerlijke muts is om de nek koel te houden. Voor de echte One Love Jah ever Livin' Rasta Man! And: One of a Kind hat of course! Maat: 61 cm hoofdomtrek.


This time I crocheted a really big Rasta tam. I used the fantastic 'Cotton Light' yarn, so despite the size of the hat it's not heavy! I also used an airy stitch so it is a great hat to keep the neck cool. For the real One Love Jah ever livin 'Rasta Man! And: One of a Kind hat of course! Size: 24 inch head circumference.

Op dit model ziet de muts er leeg uit, maar er kunnen vele dreadlocks in geborgen worden!                    

 On this model the tam looks slouch, but it can contain many dreadlocks!

Gehaakte Rasta muts / Crocheted Rasta hat

       Deze Rastamuts heb ik inmiddels klaar, het is misschien wel een donkere muts, maar toch niet heet want het is gemaakt van 100 % katoen garen. Het is een muts voor hoofdomtrek rond de 56 cm. Er passen aardig wat dreadlocks in!
Ik ben bezig met een zelfs grotere Rasta muts, waar nog veel langere dreads in kunnen! De foto's plaats ik zodra ik goed licht heb om ze te maken! 
Heerlijke mutsen: al die warme locks uit je nek met dit hete weer!


       This Rasta hat I have made, is perhaps a dark hat, but not hot because it is made of 100% cotton yarn. It's a hat for head circumference around 56 cm / 22 inch. It can hold quite a few dreadlocks in! 
I'm working on an even larger Rasta hat, a real tam that can keep even much longer dreads in! The photos I will place once I have good light to make them! 
Very functional hats : all the locks away from your neck with this hot weather!

Zomers setje voor pop Adene / Summer outfit for doll Adene !

       Bij het korte broekje heeft Adene nu een jasje -sluitend met klittenband- van katoen: heerlijk voor de zomer...! Het setje kan natuurlijk ook prima dienst doen als pyjamaatje, maar het jasje past net zo goed bij de lange broek van zachte velours met twee ruime zijzakken. En wat mij betreft kan het setje ook onder het gebreide jurkje gedragen worden hoor! Door de passende kleuren van Adene's garderobe kunnen de poppenkleertjes op allerlei manieren gecombineerd worden! Volgens mij is zij nu blij met wat ze heeft en ze blijft nog een poosje op mijn blog. Indien iemand haar zou willen aanschaffen en nog een ander kledingstuk erbij wenst, zoals bijvoorbeeld een mutsje: stuur me gewoon een mailtje met die wens!  Hier de foto's van het kleding setje dat ik pas gemaakt heb:

With her shorts Adene now has a jacket -Velcro closure- made of cotton: great for summer...! Of course this set  can perfectly work as pajamas, although the jacket also suits the trousers of soft velor with two large side pockets. And in my opinion the cute cotton outfit can be worn under the knitted dress just as well! Because of the matching colors of Adene's wardrobe, the clothes of the doll can be combined in many ways! I think this doll is happy with what she has now and she will hang around for a while here on my blog.        Op het nippertje, maar daar is ze dan: Adena heeft haar eigen pagina hier op het blog!
Haar garderobe is bijna compleet, Adene is (ik kan het niet laten..) weer een pop met meer dan 1 outfit, maar ze stond erop en ik kon haar niet weigeren, dus......
Ik heb genoten haar te zien ontstaan en wie weet vindt zij op een dag een leuk nieuw thuis, hoewel zij voorlopig nog bij mij blijft om te worden bewonderd. Ik ben nog volop bezig met een laatste onderdeel van haar kleding.

       At the last minute, but here she is: Adena has her own page here on the blog! Her wardrobe is almost complete, Adene is (I can not resist ..) yet another doll with more than one outfit, but she insisted and I couldn't refuse her, so ...... 
I enjoyed seeing her come to exist and who knows one day she finds a nice new home, although for now she will stay with me. I'm still working on the final part of her clothing.

Maak kennis met / meet: Waldorf pop / doll Adene

      Hier een voorproefje, van een heerlijke pop die tussen mijn handen is ontstaan! Ik ging een pop maken... maar kreeg Adene.. ze is een klein wondertje, zo lief en mooi! 
Ik wist van tevoren niet dat ze zo zou worden, een prachtige verrassing! Haar naam werd mij ingefluisterd...het betekent 'teder' en past helemaal bij haar.
Het is nu bedtijd, maar morgen komen meer foto's van Adene en wat bij haar hoort.

Here's a preview, a delightfull doll that came into existence between my hands! I was going to make a doll ... but got ADENE .. she's a small miracle, so sweet and beautiful! I did not know in advance that she would become like this, such a wonderful surprise! Her name was whispered to me ... it means 'tender' and really suits her just fine.It is time for bed now, but tomorrow I will show you more pictures of ADENE and what belongs to her.
